So I have the classic loser job of working at a gas station, now. In my two days of working there, I've come up with a couple of observations.

1) If you need to gather up all of the change in your couch to buy beer...you don't need to be buying beer.

2) If while paying for your four cans of Steel Reserve with nickels and pennies, your child is begging you for some milk or juice, put away one of the god damned cans and get your kid some fucking milk and/or juice.

A good friend of mine had this to say to me just now: "People are morons, but dumbasses being what they are shouldn't stop you from being what you want. And the long journey to being what you want begins with being a convenience store clerk."

Jesus Christ, I hate my life.
